The 3.1 cm large tooth of Hemipristis serra has a very nice sharp serration and black and grey coloured shiny enamel. The Hemipristis serra is an already extinct species of the genus weasel shark that occurred in the Oligocene to Miocene in the Atlantic. Its total length is estimated at up to 6 metres.
