2.4 cm and 2.4 cm teeth of the bull shark and lemon shark

The 2.4 cm tooth of the bull shark (Carcharhinus leucas) has a light yellow enamel and well-preserved dentition. The tooth of the lemon shark (Negaprion brevirostris), also 2.4 cm in size, is in a good state of preservation and has blue-grey enamel. The two fossil shark teeth come from the Bone Valley. The white roots and the multi-faceted colouring of the enamel are typical of this site.
