11.4 cm sharp dark tooth of the Megalodon

The 11.4 cm tooth of Carcharocles Megalodon has a beautiful symmetry. The shiny enamel is dark blue in color with a reddish shimmer at the transition. The fine teeth are well preserved and sharp. The narrow black bourelette is clearly recognizable. The matt black tooth root has been worn away and smoothed over the many millions of years in the sea. The nutrient grooves in the middle of the enamel, with which the tooth was supplied during the shark's lifetime, are still clearly visible. The tooth comes from the upper jaw of the prehistoric giant.
