13.1 cm dark blue tooth of the Megalodon

The 13.1 cm tooth of Carcharocles Megalodon has a wonderfully preserved dark blue enamel. The fine serration is beautifully recognisable and sharp except for occasional chipping. The black bourelette is chipped and the matt brown root has been ground down and smoothed by the many millions of years. Prehistoric giant teeth with dark enamel always stand out, as most of the teeth found on the south-east coast of the USA are grey or brownish. This tooth was found off the coast of Georgia.
