4.6 cm dark mako shark tooth

The 4.6 cm tooth of Cosmopolitodus hastalis was found in the Peace River in Florida. The tooth has a beautiful symmetry and comes from the shark's upper jaw. The shiny crown is black with a sharp edge. The slightly lighter brown root has been slightly eroded by millions of years in the sea.
