The 9.9 cm long and massive tooth of Spinosaurus aegyptiacus has a multi-faceted red-coloured enamel, most of which is still beautifully preserved. The typical longitudinal grooves are still clearly recognisable below the tip. The tooth has no obvious repairs and is hollow on the inside. The teeth of Spinosaurus are often found with rock remains from the place where they were found. Spinosaurus aegyptiacus is the largest known land predator with a length of up to 16 metres.
