4.8 cm gray tooth of the Mao Shark from the USA

The 4.8 cm tooth of the already extinct mako shark (Cosmopolitodus hastalis) is narrow and pointed. The enamel is gray-blue with a sharp edge. The dark gray tooth root has been smoothed over the many millions of years in the sea. In the middle of the tooth root you can still see the two nutrient grooves through which the tooth was nourished during the shark's lifetime.
