The 12.5 cm large and wide tooth of Carcharocles megalodon shows recognisable good serration and patterned grey-blue enamel with reddish elements. The dark root of the tooth is slightly eroded by millions of years in the water. White remains of barnacles are still visible. The tooth was found by a diver in the St. Mary River in Georgia.
