11.0 cm large tooth fragment of the Megalodon

The 11.0 cm tooth fragment of Carcharocles Megalodon was found by a diver in the southwestern USA. The root is brownish and somewhat abraded. The enamel is grayish blue. The tip is broken off and the serration is still partially visible.

Species: Carcharocles Megalodon (Family: Otodontidae, Genius: Otodus)
Age: ca. 3 – 20 million years old (Pliocene – early Miocene)
Location: Southeast of the USA
