16.3 cm gigantic black tooth of the Megalodon

The 16.3 cm large and massive tooth of the Carcharocles Megalodon is impressive and a highlight for any collection. The tooth is a so-called ‘anterior’ tooth from the lower jaw of the prehistoric giant. The tooth is completely dark and black with a still clearly recognisable serration. Another special feature is the pathological undulations in the serration towards the root of the tooth. These folds occur when the tooth becomes too large for the intended space in the jaw during growth and is compressed accordingly. A very special gigantic tooth of the prehistoric giant from the Broad River, whose pictures speak for themselves.
