The 10.8 cm long tooth of the Carcharocles Megalodon is very compact and has a massive crown. The enamel is red-brown in colour, as is the well-preserved bourelette. Depending on the incidence of light, the enamel shimmers bluish. The serration is well preserved and sharp. The darker brown root of the tooth has been eroded by millions of years in the sea.
