The 11.7 cm tooth of Carcharocles Megalodon has a beautiful symmetry and massive dark tooth root, which has been slightly eroded by the many millions of years in the sea. The enamel is light brown in colour and beautifully preserved, especially on the lingual side. The reddish-brown bourelette is well preserved and broad. The serration is completely preserved and palpable except for the tip.
