The 11.0 cm tooth of Carcharocles Megalodon has a dagger-like shape and comes from the lower jaw of the prehistoric shark. The enamel is well preserved and grey-blue in colour. The serration is still recognisable. The dark root of the tooth is massive, as is the black bourelette, most of which is still preserved. The tooth was found in North Carolina.
