10.2 cm dagger-shaped light-coloured tooth of the Megalodon

The 10.2 cm dagger-shaped tooth of Carcharocles megalodon has a shiny, light grey enamel that is chipped at the tip. The tooth comes from the lower jaw of the prehistoric giant. The somewhat coarser serration is sharp and largely still present. The black bourelette is also still in a good state of preservation. The grey root has eroded over the many millions of years in the sea. A small piece of the root has broken off on the right-hand side and has been reattached. The repair can be seen in the pictures.
