The 3.6 cm long tooth of the prehistoric crocodile Sarcosuchus has a partially preserved shiny reddish enamel. The Sarcosuchus lived together with the dinosaurs 100 million years ago. It was also known as the super crocodile due to its size and biting power. It grew up to 12 metres long and weighed 8 tonnes and lived in fresh water. It is assumed that it also hunted along the shore and that dinosaurs were among its prey.
