15.5 cm large polished tooth of the Megalodon

The 15.5 cm tooth of Carcharocles megalodon impresses with its size. The tooth was polished on the lingual side, i.e. the damaged enamel was removed and the surface was polished smooth and shiny. The enamel on the labial side is still intact and is grey-blue in colour and patterned. The dentition is still partially recognisable and the black root has been naturally smoothed by the many millions of years in the sea. A special and impressive specimen of the prehistoric giant.
