The 11.0 cm dagger-shaped tooth of Megalodon comes from the lower jaw of the prehistoric giant. The tooth has an almost perfect symmetry and very nicely preserved.The serrations are sharp and the tip is well preserved. The special feature of this tooth is the intergrown chipping of the serration at the transition to the root. Probably this was caused by a malposition or bite in the jaw of the Megalodon.
