5.7 cm red-brown tooth of the Mako shark

The 5.7 cm tooth of the already extinct mako shark (Cosmopolitodus hastalis) has a shiny red-brown patterned enamel and sharp edges. The darker brown enamel has been eroded and smoothed over millions of years in the sea. The tooth originates from the south-east of the USA.
