The 9.9 cm fossil tooth of the Carcharocles Megalodon has a shiny grey enamel and the existing serration is beautifully preserved and sharp. The black bourelette is also well preserved and shiny black. The matt dark root of the tooth has been worn away and damaged over the many millions of years in the sea. The tooth comes from the lower jaw of the prehistoric giant.
