The 8.5 cm tooth of Carcharocles Megalodon has a dark gray enamel and is damaged at the tip. The fine serration is still clearly visible and palpable. The black bourelette is very well preserved. The matt root of the tooth has been slightly eroded and damaged over the many millions of years in the sea. The tooth came from the upper jaw of the Megalodon and was found in a river in South Carolina.
