11.8 cm heart-shaped tooth of the Megalodon

The 11.8 cm tooth of Carcharocles comes from the upper jaw of the prehistoric giant and its symmetrical shape is reminiscent of a heart. The enamel is dark and gray with black spots. The fine dentition is wonderfully preserved and very sharp. The shiny wider black bourelette is well preserved and forms the transition to the likewise black matt tooth root. The enamel is slightly damaged by the many millions of years in the sea and there are still white shell remains and deposits adhering to it. A pretty anterior tooth of the megalodon with a charm all of its own.
