The 10.2 cm tooth of the Carcharocles Megalodon is dagger-shaped and comes from the lower jaw of the shark. The enamel is shiny and dark gray and the fine serration is very well preserved and sharp. The black bourelette is also in a very good state of preservation. The duller dark tooth root has been slightly worn away and smoothed over the many millions of years in the sea.
