11.1 cm large tooth fragment of Megalodon with black bourelette

The 11.1 large tooth fragment of Carcharocles Megalodon has a relatively broad dark root. The black, shiny bourelette is still wonderfully preserved. The existing serration is nicely recognizable and partly sharp.

Species: Carcharocles Megalodon (Family: Otodontidae, Genius: Otodus)
Age: ca. 3 – 20 million years old (Pliocene – early Miocene)
