10.0 cm black-grey tooth of the Megalodon

The 10.0 cm tooth of the Carcharocles megalodon was found off the coast of Savannah in Georgia. The tooth has a beautifully preserved shiny black-grey enamel and partly sharp continuous dentition. The root and bourelette were eroded during many millions of years in the sea.
