The 4.9 cm tooth of the Carcharocles Megalodon has a dark blue enamel and the existing serration is still recognisable at the base. The black bourelet is relatively wide and beautifully preserved. The black root of the tooth has been smoothed over the many millions of years in the sea and the broken tip of the tooth has been naturally polished.
