The 7.4 cm large fossil tooth of the Carcharocles Megalodon has a relatively broad dark brown root in comparison to the red-brown crown. The tooth comes from the posterior region of the upper jaw of the Megalodon. The serration is still largely preserved and sharp. The tooth has been slightly damaged over the many millions of years in the sea and the root is eroded with whitish deposits.
