10.1 cm black sharp tooth of the Megalodon

The 10.1 cm tooth of Carcharocles Megalodon is completely black, a so-called ‘jet-black’ tooth. The very fine serrations are almost perfectly preserved and razor sharp. The tooth is in very good condition with a massive, powerful root and a broad bourelette. The tooth was found at a depth of approximately 15 meters off the coast of Savannah, Georgia. This spot is known for its black fossil finds. The tooth comes from the lower jaw of the prehistoric giant and is a beautiful collector's item.
