The 6.3 cm dagger-shaped tooth of the Megalodon comes from the lower jaw of the prehistoric giant due to its shape. The shiny enamel is gray and beautifully preserved, as are the very sharp, palpable teeth. The bourelette is brown, which provides a beautiful contrast. The gray, matte tooth root is solid and has been naturally smoothed over millions of years in the sea.
