The 4.8 cm large tooth of Cosmopolitodus hastalis has a shiny, beautifully colored brown and grey enamel with patterns. The enamel is beautifully preserved. The brown, matt tooth root has been slightly eroded over the many millions of years in the sea. The tooth comes from the south-east of the USA.
