The 6.0 cm long tooth of Spinosaurus aegyptiacus has a beautifully preserved reddish and shiny enamel. Remnants of rock from the place of discovery are still attached to the root of the tooth, which gives it its own charm. The tooth has not been repaired, which is rarely the case with fossils from Morocco. Spinosaurus aegyptiacus is the largest known land predator dinosaur, measuring up to 16 metres in length.
