3.1 cm large tooth crown of Igdamanosaurus aegyptiacus

The 3.1 cm tooth crown of Igdamanosaurus aegyptiacus is well preserved and dark brown in colour. Igdamanosaurus aegyptiacus belongs to the genus Mosasaurs, the largest known marine predatory dinosaurs. It was up to 6 metres long. The teeth of Igdamanosaurus are characterised by their spherical shape. They enabled it to crack the shells of ammonites and mussels.
