The 8.0 cm long tooth of Spinosaurus aegyptiacus has a beautifully preserved brown enamel that darkens towards the tip. The typical longitudinal grooves are clearly recognisable and palpable. The tooth has been repaired at the tip, which is clearly recognisable in the pictures. Spinosaurus aegyptiacus is the largest known land predator with a length of up to 16 metres.
