12.9 cm very large impressive tooth of Carcharodontosaurus

The 12.9 cm long tooth of Carcharodontosaurus saharicus is impressive not only because of its size, but also because of its massiveness. The enamel is reddish and brown in colour and still shiny in places. Part of the serration is still well preserved and sharp. The tooth has minor repairs, which can be clearly seen in the pictures. Carcharodontosaurus was one of the largest land predators and is also known as the African Trex.
