The 9.0 cm long tooth of Spinosaurus aegyptiacus has a beautifully preserved red-brown enamel at the tip. The typical distinctive longitudinal grooves are clearly recognisable and palpable. Remnants of rock from the place where the tooth was found are still attached to the root of the tooth. The tooth has been repaired, which is clearly recognisable in the pictures. Spinosaurus aegyptiacus is the largest known land predator with a length of up to 16 metres.
