7.2 cm wide vertebrae of the Mosasaurus

The vertebra of the Mosasaurus has a diameter of 7.2 and a height of 4 centimetres and is in a good state of preservation. The mosasaur was the largest of the marine reptiles known so far from prehistoric times and was at the top of the food chain. The mosasaur family reached a body length of 8 - 11 metres.
