7.0 cm sharp tooth of the Megalodon from Morocco

The 7.0 cm large tooth of the Carcharocles Megalodon comes from Morocco. Fossilised teeth of the Megalodon in a good state of preservation are very rarely found in Morocco and are therefore among the rarities. The tooth has a fine and razor-sharp serration and comes from the posterior region of the dentition. The reddish narrow bourelette is perfectly preserved and the lighter brown enamel shows white patterns, indicating demineralisation by water. The serration is still beautifully preserved and very sharp. The tooth has minor damage to the brown root, but has not been repaired or restored. A small collector's jewel.
