5.1 cm gray solid tooth of the Mako shark

The 5.1 cm tooth of the already extinct mako shark (Cosmopolitodus hastalis) is relatively massive and broad. The shiny enamel is gray and contrasts with the black tooth root. The root of the tooth has been slightly eroded over many millions of years in the sea. The tooth was found in the USA.
