The 5.7 cm fossil tooth of the Carcharocles Megalodon is dagger-shaped and therefore comes from the front area of the lower jaw of the prehistoric giant. The tooth has a shiny dark grey enamel and clearly visible serrations. The matt black root of the tooth is slightly worn away by the many millions of years in the sea.
