The 5.1 cm tooth of the Cosmopolitodus hastalis (mako shark) was found in the Bone Valley region of Florida. The enamel is light in color with bluish patterns and very well preserved. The edges are noticeably sharp. The light gray tooth root is slightly worn and relatively wide.
