The 3.6 cm large tooth of Hemipristis serra has an elongated pointed shape. The tooth is in a beautiful state of preservation and has excellent sharp serrations. The enamel is grey and black in colour. The Hemipristis serra is an extinct species of the genus weasel shark that occurred in the Oligocene to Miocene in the Atlantic. Its total length is estimated at up to 6 metres.
