2.5 cm long tooth of Notorynchus primigenius from Bremen

The 2.8 cm long dark tooth of Notorynchus primigenius was found in a boulder near Bremen and dates from the Miocene. It is a lingual lateral tooth. Notorynchus primigenius is an extinct species of broad-nosed sevengill shark and belongs to the group of comb-toothed sharks. Carackteristic is a wide mouth and seven pairs of gill slits.
A case for storage is included.
