The 3.8 cm tooth of the already extinct mako shark (Cosmopolitodus hastalis) has a multi-faceted colored enamel, which makes it very interesting. The tooth is very pointed. The brown root of the tooth is well preserved apart from minor damage and the nutrient groove in the middle, with which the tooth was supplied during the shark's lifetime, is clearly visible. The tooth comes from the southeast of the USA.
