The 3.3 cm large tooth of Hemipristis serra has a shiny blue-grey enamel and a grey matt root. The fine serration is beautifully preserved. The Hemipristis serra is an extinct species of the weasel shark genus that occurred in the Oligocene to Miocene in the Atlantic. Its total length is estimated at up to 6 metres.
