The 3.4 cm fossil tooth of the mako shark (Cosmopolitodus hastalis) comes from the Lee Creek Mines in Aurora/North Carolina. It has the typical light grey tooth root and a beige and bluish coloured shiny enamel. The tooth is in very good condition.
