The 10.8 cm tooth of Carcharocles Megalodon has a beautifully preserved grey enamel and black bourelette. The fine serration is largely preserved and sharp in places. Rock and shell remains are still attached to the dark root of the tooth, which has been polished smooth over millions of years in the sea.
