12.5 cm massive tooth of the Spinosaurus

The 12.5 cm tooth of Spinosaurus aegyptiacus is very massive. The enamel is dark-colored at the tip and the veins and typical longitudinal grooves are clearly visible. The tooth has minor repairs, which are clearly visible in the pictures.

Species:      Spinosaurus aegyptiacus ( Family: Spinosauridae; Genus: Spinosaurus)
Age:             approx. 100.5 to 93.9 million years (Upper Cretaceous - Cenomanian)
Location:    Kem Kem formation near Taouz /Morocco
Weight:       115 g
