The 10.6 cm tooth of Carcharocles Megalodon has beautiful shiny enamel with slightly lighter grain at the tip. The fine serrations are wonderfully preserved and razor sharp. The bourelette is lacquer black and fine. The tooth root is matte with clearly visible nutrient joints through which the tooth was supplied during the shark's lifetime. The tooth crown is slightly curved and comes from the lateral area of the upper jaw of the prehistoric giant. A very beautiful collector's item that was found off the coast of Savannah, Georgia.
