The 10.2 cm fossil tooth of the Carcharocles Megalodon has a light brown and grey enamel that varies depending on the incidence of light. The fine serration is well preserved and sharp. The matt tooth root is light grey with whitish deposits and has been worn away and smoothed over the many millions of years. The tooth comes from the upper jaw of the prehistoric giant.
