The 7.8 cm smaller tooth of the Carcharocles Megalodon was damaged over the many millions of years in the sea and the root of the tooth was worn away. The still well-preserved shiny enamel is grey, blue and reddish in colour. The serration can still be easily recognised and felt. The tooth of the Megalodon was found off the coast in the south-east of the USA.
