5,9 cm white white shark sharktooth from chile
5.9 cm large bright tooth of great white shark from Chile
The 5,9 cm big tooth of the Great White Shark (Carcharodon carcharias) from the Atacama Desert in Chile has a nice serration and great beige coloring.
The largest fossil teeth of Carcharodon carcharias found so far are around 7.5 cm, although these are already very rare finds.
In the Atacama salt desert in northern Chile, very beautiful and richly colored shark teeth have been found for some time. These are rarely offered on the European market. The teeth found there are characterized by their very beautiful color, as well as impressive preservation and a very hard enamel. For years there is an export ban on the part of Chile for fossils of all kinds, which is why it is becoming increasingly difficult to get these great shark teeth.
The tooth was probably restored. See photos in detail.
